| Automation equipment manufacturer Mikron Assembly Technology exhibited for the first time at the Automation 08 exhibition in Mumbai, India at the end of September. The exhibition was an opportunity for the Swiss company to introduce its expertise to Indian manufacturers and demonstrate how high-performance assembly equipment can streamline production and reduce unit costs.
“India is one of the world’s most rapidly expanding economies and it’s an enormous potential market for automation technology,” said Mikron’s senior regional Sales Manager West Germany and India Armin Doser. “We met people from all over India during the five days and the feedback was very positive – we’ll be meeting many of them in the coming weeks to discuss their production needs and how we can help.”
Staff from Mikron’s sister automation company, Singapore Integral Systems were also on hand to answer visitor’s questions and discuss new opportunities for improving production.
