Polyfeed - Innovative flexible feeding solution
The Polyfeed is a flexible feeding device for feeding oriented parts that would be impossible - or very difficult (ie springs) to feed with conventional systems. This system is based on the use of a vision recognition system to recognize parts in their various forms and positions.

The Polyfeed is over 95% reusable; this means that even if you make changes to your components there is no need to purchase a new feeding system.

Low-cost solutions
A variant change can be made quickly, requiring only a few minutes delay before production can restart. A new product can be made production-ready in only a few days.

Polyfeed - Standalone version
Polyfeed Standalone

The architecture of the Polyfeed Standalone corresponds to the integration of a Polyfeed and a 4 NC axes robot (X,Y,Z and rotation C) with a common controller to manage the complete system.

The main sub-systems are:
  • The bulk storage unit for customer components
  • The Polyfeed that includes the camera for the vision system and tooling plates
  • A patented vibration system isolates the parts for pre-orientation
  • The vision system controller (PC) that manages the camera and the cartesian robot
  • The cartesian robot that picks the “selected” parts on the tooling plate of the Polyfeed, orients them and places them on the link
  • The link that transports the oriented parts to the assembly machine
  • The Human Machine Interface (HMI) used by the operator to change parameters
  • The electrical cabinet
  • The main frame made of mineral cast that carries all the other sub-systems
