History

1918

Charles Léon Haesler founded a small manufacturing company making machinery and equipment for the watch industry in Le Locle, Switzerland.
The machine are based on rotary indexing table technology.
 
1961The company was acquired by Mikron and becomes Mikron Haesler SA.
 
1976The primary assembly machine based on the rotary indexing system was launched: the Polyfactor™.
 
1991Mikron SA Boudry concentrates its activities exclusively in the assembly field.
Creation of Mikron Technology Group with 3 divisions:
Assembly Technology - Machining Technology - Plastic Technology
 
1994Development of the linear assembly concept Flexifactor™ concept based on the standard Flexcell™ cell.
 
1997Introduction of the robotic assembly cell Syfast™.
 
1999CEI Automation, bought in 1998, becomes Mikron Corporation Denver, USA.
 
2002Launch of the new high performance linear assembly system G05™.
 
2003.Sales of the 500th Flexcell™.
 
2004Launch of the high speed Polyfeed™ Standalone.
 
2006Launch of the G05™ assembly center + G05™ palletizer
Integration of the Polyfeed™ standalone in the G05™ product family.
