Our history in brief

Mikron SA AgnoSince 1945 Mikron SA Agno has been closely linked to the birth of the ballpoint pen. From the very first day, Albe, as the company was then called, contributed to the development and production of the points for the ballpoint pens.
Over the years the competences have been grown and nowadays the company is specialized in building transfer systems for a wide range of industrial applications.
Milestones


1986

Mikron took over the company Albe SA and Mikron SA Agno was founded

1988

Launch of the PM-30 and the Multifactor arrived from Boudry to Agno

1990

Focus on the production of transfer machining systems and launch of the Multistar LX-24 for the writing industry

1991

Launch of the Multistar CX-24

1992

Development of the Multistar LX-24 for industrial applications

1993

Market introduction of the Multistep

1997

New Corporate Identity for the Group and we are named Mikron Machining Technology

1999

Multistep production moved to Rottweil (DE).

2000

Certification ISO 14001

2002

Launch of the Multistar LX-12

2005

SQS Certification ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:1999

2005

Launch at the EMO 2005 of Mikron NRG-50, the new generation of transfer systems

2007

Launch of the newly developed linear transfer system Multistep XT-200
