Why Transfer Machining Systems?

Transfer Machines or Indexing Table Machines are perfect when it is planned to perform a number of different operations on the same workpiece.
Parts are clamped in appropriate clamping fixtures and "transferred" to the various working stations, where different kind of operations - such as drilling, milling, turning, tapping and knurling - are executed. This concept allows simultaneously machining for as many parts as clamping fixtures are available on the rotary table. Machining times of the single operations are not added, as in the case of machining centers or turning centers.
