Mikron Machining Systems are basically equipped to produce finished workpieces directly from wire coil or bar stock. However it is convenient to manufacture small blanks on Mikron wire processing machines to allow a higher output rates on the subsequent Transfer Machines.
- Wire cutting machine TR-42,
the machine for economical and straight shearing of wire with diameters up to 3 mm for steel, or 5 mm for aluminum and brass.
- Cold heading press RP-32/3.
As a single stroke cold header the RP-32/3 model is most suitable for small simple parts. The automatic centering device of the die ensures accurate coaxial relationship of the various diameters. The max. wire diameter is 3 mm for brass and 4 mm for aluminum.
