Group Management comprises the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the divisional COOs. The CEO acts as the chairman of Group Management and is responsible for the executive leadership of the Mikron Group.
The Group’s Organizational Regulations set out the rights and duties of the Board of Directors and Group Management and describes in detail how these cooperate.

COO Mikron Machining
Bruno Cathomen has assumed office of the CEO of Mikron Group as of 1 October 2011, in addition to serving as COO of the Mikron Machining division. He joined Mikron Group in 2009.
Bruno Cathomen spent the eight years before he joined Mikron with Elcoteq Network Corporation, latterly as Vice-President Communications Networks. Prior to this he held a number of posts at the ABB technology group. |

COO Mikron Automation
Rolf Rihs took over as COO of the Mikron Automation division in mid-2002, prior to which he worked for the Sulzer Group for eight years in various regions and functions. He was previously a consultant at Helbling Management Consulting working on numerous projects for well-known Swiss companies. Mr Rihs has been Vice President of EFAC (European Factory Automation Committee) since November 2007. |

Chief Financial Officer
Martin Blom became CFO of the Mikron Group 1st May 2011. He is with Mikron since 2005, lastly as Head Group Finance & Controlling. From 2004 to 2005 Martin Blom was in charge of accounting projects (IFRS) and the delegate of the finance department for enterprise valuations and due dilligences at the Bernese Energy Group BKW FMB. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2004, he was employed by PwC as lead auditor and served several national and international Groups. At the same time he was active in the professional training (audit).
