Your main tasks

A Customer Service Technical Project manager will be responsible for the successful execution during all project phases of Mikron Customer Service projects; to include delivery time, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.  This will be done while supervising the project team members to meet project expectations.  You may be responsible for leading different activities and resources of a project with the support of the functional manager.  You will be responsible for providing on-time updated project financial information, and status reports as requested, and lead and supervise assigned projects during all project phases while maintaining effective communication with customers to support company goals, values, and operating principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Able to work with different jobs function during project phases
  • Can provide guideline and/or sketches to design the stations
  • Capable to coordinate project resources requests and forecast with functional Manager
  • Able to provide root cause analysis techniques such as bone fish, 5 whys Follow Mikron standards, work instructions and procedures
  • Able to analyze and interpret customer URS, design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the requests 
  • Able to organize and lead large meetings with customers, suppliers, and Mikron Team members
  • Lead internal/external project design reviews
  • Ability to prioritize activities during project execution phases
  • Establish a partnership relationship with the customer at all times
  • Ability to estimate costs and delivery time during all project execution phases
  • Capable to work with excel cost sheets and understand the formulas and the data behind the summaries
  • Capable to work with Microsoft Project and deliver estimated timelines to customers

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills 

  • BS in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering degree or 5 years of relevant working experience 
  • Ability to make sound decisions, work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to communicate goals and expectations for the project team’s member
  • Natural leader 
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to travel as requested
  • Must be available to work overtime
  • May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
  • Must have a valid state Driver license
