Your main tasks

The Facilities Technician II supports and maintains Mikron Facility to help maintain quality standards for high performance manufacturing. The Facilities Department works effectively and efficiently towards finding and executing solutions while working in conjunction with all internal departments and external suppliers to effectively maintain facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Verification that all facility maintenance is performed properly and on schedule in support of the Facilities Technician III or Supervisor. Activities include, but are not limited to:
    - General Maintenance
    - Snow Removal
    - Landscaping
    - Lawn Service
    - Sprinkler System
    - Trash Collection
    - Facility Cleaning
    - Pest Control
    - Fire Suppression
  • Responsible for establishing pneumatic connections to equipment when needed
  • Performance of small facility repair when and if possible
  • Helps to Maintain, clean, and organize common areas of warehouse
  • Maintains Maintenance and Safety logs for machinery 

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Previous Forklift Certifications Required
  • Forklift & scissor lift operation Experience Required
  • Highschool Diploma, or equivalent GED
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Relevant Experience
  • Disposal and/or recycling of material Gaylords for customer projects and the Internal Manufacturing
  • Disposal and/or recycling of material pallets, in support of Facilities Supervisor
  • Janitorial Services, as required, to support janitorial contractor and maintain general cleanliness in warehouse
  • Assists with Loading and Offloading of heavy equipment, as needed, in conjunction with the Shipping & Receiving team(s)
  • Helps maintain and organize conference rooms, as necessary
  • Stock and replenish consumables for facilities as needed. 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to travel as requested
  • Must be available to work overtime
  • May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
  • Must have a valid state Driver license
