Your main tasks

Our Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing timely, accurate, and detailed monthly financial statements to be reported to our corporate management and our local management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in a timely manner including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cashflow
  • Maintain account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
  • Provide detail analysis of income statement accounts
  • Manage the liquidity of the organization
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations
  • Calculate the revenue based on the percentage of completion method
  • Assist the Controller and General Manager in the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Maintain documentation for and assist with audits
  • Assist with preparation of and filing of local, state, and federal tax returns and tax credits
  • Other Accounting Duties as needed to assist with day to day operations of the department (reviewing check runs, coding invoices, etc.)

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years in an Accounting Role
  • BS in Business Administration, Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, and or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance position
  • Accounting proven background
  • Treasury
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger Accounting
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Pivot Tables, Look Up Equations, and Sum If Equations required
