I have been working at Mikron for four years now, first externally and then internally. Mikron offered me my first job after my studies in France. I chose to work at Mikron because it is a company where each project is different and has its own specific characteristics, which suits me perfectly!
Mikron trusted me and in the last four years, I have been able to evolve. I was able to train as a Junior Manager and today I hold the position of Validation Engineer Leader. As a new mother, I can reconcile my two "new" roles nicely, thanks to telecommuting.
Working for Mikron allows me to develop in many areas. It has given me a chance to evolve as part of a friendly and dynamic team, which meant that I could face the challenge of learning about my assembly job in a comfortable, friendly environment.
I am given the opportunity to learn a new language – English – at the company. I will have the chance to travel around the world in the near future, and look forward to discovering new cultures and countries.
I’m very glad to be a member of Mikron family. As a project manager, I’m honored to be fully trusted and authorized by the managers of company during these years, to take charge of the extremely challenging and technologically sophisticated projects.
These projects have been successfully completed within timeline, met the technical parameters and requirements raised by customers, which is under the joint efforts of project team members and multi departments. And customers are very satisfied.
2022 was a tough year, however Mikron grew against trend. I led and completed first high-speed auto injector assembly line in Mikron Asia. I hope Mikron will take this opportunity to develop more customers in the field of medical devices in China and keep growing steady and rapidly.
I’m working as an electrical engineer at Mikron for the past 2 years. From day one, I have felt supported and valued by my colleagues and superiors. This had been one of the great working experience for my career life.
As a woman in a male-dominated industry, I have never felt out of place or unheard. In fact, I have been given countless opportunities to grow and develop my skills and have been recognized for my contributions to the team.
The work environment is also incredibly positive and collaborative. There is a real sense of teamwork and mutual respect, and everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and opinions with the aim to solve the issues or obstacles together as team.

Working at Mikron Monroe since March 2019 has been the greatest experience of my accounting career. My coworkers here are the best and they have all become my second family.
As the only one in the accounting department here, I get great support from my counterparts in Denver and Switzerland, and when personal training is needed, I get to visit the corporate offices in beautiful Agno.
Working through the apprenticeship program within Mikron has been great for me, I have developed significantly in terms of working on high precision complex machines and systems - all of which are different, which definitely keeps things interesting. I also enjoy working for a global company, being able to interact with counterparts from Singapore and Europe has been unique and rewarding experience. Above all else, being a part of a team that pushes to make these machines 'happen' is a great feeling, especially when you enjoy the company of those you work with.
As the first woman to be trained as a polymechanic at Mikron, I have learned that technical professions are not only for men. Over the years, I have had the chance to discover various functions, such as assembler, quality controller, and technical buyer. I then obtained a Federal Certificate as a production expert, and I worked as a manufacturing methods engineer. Today I am an apprentice supervisor. During my own apprenticeship, I was the only female. This observation pushed me to want to change things. Today, five years later, I am proud to note that there are six young women in total out of the four current apprenticeship classes. My career path has been punctuated by challenges and enriching encounters. I look back at these with pride but also look forward to the future, with the conviction that women have their place in the technical professions.
