Your main tasks
The Electrical Designer position supports the company by working with project teams on the electrical design of Industrial Automated Control Systems and machine integration. This includes working with all internal departments as part of the team to meet the company initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and redline electrical schematics
- Prepare electrical assembly package for the electrical technicians
- Ability to release outstanding parts from components list to ERP system with supervision
- Support Electrical Technicians during wiring and troubleshooting
- Basic Understanding of a project components list and how it relates to schematics
- Basic Understanding of SDS I/O checklist and how it relates to schematics
- Basic Understanding of Documentation practices - Release, FAT, SAT
- Support Electrical Technicians during wiring and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of the Main Mikron platform: G05
- Ability to follow company and department policies and procedures
- Any other duties that have been described in detail as assigned by management or supervision within Mikron Corporation Denver
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical - At least 1 year or equivalent knowledge (Eplan knowledge is preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical hardware such as circuit breakers, VFDs, IO cards, transformers, etc.
- Basic safety experience (E-stop, 2 channels circuit, …)
- Basic knowledge of NEC (NFPA 79)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good at reading and interpreting single line & standard wiring diagrams, panel layouts and data sheets
- Basic Understanding component layouts, voltage separation, mounting for best wiring practices, spacing requirements
- Understand the fundamentals of AC electrical circuits and low voltage DC electrical
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to travel as requested
- Must be available to work overtime
- May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
- Must have a valid state Driver license

Pay Range
- $29 - $35 per hour
