Job Description
The Production planning expert plays a crucial role in optimizing production processes and managing workflow. They are responsible for organizing, supervising, and directing the production planning strategy. The Scheduler must adapt production dates based on the arrival of components and the workload and capacity of workstations. Key factor is close collaboration with various departments within the company to ensure efficient and uninterrupted project execution.
Your main tasks
- Monitor all Manufacturing orders.
- Reschedule production dates based on the arrival of components.
- Adjust schedules according to the workload and capacity of workstations.
- Use SAP for managing manufacturing orders.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain, and other departments to optimize processes.
- Ensure communication and coordination between different departments.
- Propose improvements to optimize planning and resource management.
- Oversee the project execution process to ensure deadlines are met, production resources are used optimally, and costs are reduced.
- Anticipate risk of disruptions and adjust schedules to mitigate them.
- Participate in production meetings and provide regular reports on the progress of manufacturing orders.
Your profile
- Education in supply chain or a related field.
- Experience with SAP software.
- Experience in project management and planning execution.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum level of 5 years' experience in the field
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Supply chain management skills.
