Your main tasks
As a Supply Chain Manager Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing procurement, logistics, inventory, supplier performance, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Manage supply chain, logistics, purchasing, and inventory activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Understand customer requirements and demand forecasts, and coordinate with business partners to maintain supply continuity.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement activities to ensure stock availability.
- Oversee warehouse operations and material flow processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in purchasing, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, qualification, performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier audits.
- Analyze supplier performance based on delivery reliability and quality metrics.
- Evaluate sourcing opportunities, including overseas suppliers, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Support purchasing activities for customer service teams.
- Participate in monthly operational output and material planning activities.
- Overseas travel may be required for supplier visits and audits.
Your profile
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in industrial purchasing, supply chain, or procurement environment.
- Very good knowledge of English and Mandarin.
- Strong supplier management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
