Mikron experts will work closely with you to design an automated assembly system that meets your unique, industry-specific processes, whether for high-volume, medium-volume or lab-scale production. Mikron's standard systems are scalable and customizable to meet your current needs and adapt to future production requirements, without the need for costly and extensive future upgrades.
Your main tasks
The CI Specialist II leads the continuous improvement activities through a process of design/discovery, investigation, measure, implementation of solutions to problems, and effectiveness check of implemented solutions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive projects that enhance cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with managers to allocate resources effectively and streamline project execution.
- Deliver Clear Project Reporting: Provide timely updates, performance metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Coach and Mentor Teams: Guide employees in applying Lean tools and root cause analysis techniques (e.g., Fishbone, 5 Whys) to solve problems and sustain improvements.
- Facilitate Effective Communication: Organize and lead meetings with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Evaluate Feasibility: Analyze procedures, specifications, and proposals to determine project viability and impact.
- Map and Optimize Processes: Transition workflows from current state to future state and oversee implementation of improvements.
- Champion Operational Excellence: Conduct regular 5S audits, Kata meetings, and management reviews to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to Mikron standards, ISO9001, ISO13485, and other applicable industry regulations.
- Develop Talent: Train employees on Lean methodologies and foster accountability, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Support Organizational Goals: Perform additional duties as needed to advance company objectives.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Minimum of two years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex data, interpret technical documents, and develop actionable solutions.
- Skilled in project management, resource coordination, and cost estimation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with cost analysis tools.
- Experience with ISO audits and compliance standards.
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, have a valid state driver license and be eligible to obtain a passport for international travel
- Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English.
- Must be able to travel or work flexible hours as required for project deliverables.

- Must be able to work on-site at least three days per week at Mikron Automation’s facility. Remote work may be permitted for up to two days per week, subject to project requirements and team alignment.

Pay Range
- $ 80,000 - $100,000 per year
