Your main tasks
Contribute to the proper design of Mikron Corporation Denver (MDE) control systems. Program the control system and test using Mikron processes and rules. Participant in debug phases as required to meet the contracted functionality of the customer’s system within budget and schedule constraints.Support Mikron Corporation Denver goals, values, and operating principles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend Project Design reviews
- Support electrical and software design of machines
- Support creation of electrical BOM and IO list
- Demonstrate knowledge of the ERP system, Electrical BOM creation, electrical parts selection, and tracking delivery dates.
- Provide troubleshooting support to mechanical and electrical technicians
- Machine debug (PLC/HMI) from start to final installation at customer site
- Integrate 3rd party equipment
- Perform verification of installed IO
- Responsible for accurately and timely generation of the Controls Engineering documentation package assigned to each customer project
- Support Customer Service after machine installation
- Support electrical design team for project designs or changes
- Support Validation team to test validation package per customer’s specifications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Mikron standard materials and practices.
- Ability to travel for supporting installation at customer site and for Customer Service
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor of Science degree, or internationally recognized equivalent, in a relevant field
- 2 years of relevant working experience
- Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming
- Knowledge of electrical hardware used for Industrial Machinery
- Interpret electrical schematics and ability to redline
- Setup and troubleshoot Local and Remote IO
- Safety knowledge of Industrial Machinery
- Understand servo and VFD
- Ability to integrate 3rd party equipment such as laser system, leak tester, camera, …
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Attend Project Design reviews
- Familiar with Industrial Networking
- Familiar with electrical standards (NFPA 79, UL 508A, NEC, UL, …)
- Knowledge of C# or other OOP Language a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft suite: Excel, Power Point, Word
- Attention to detail
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to travel as requested internationally
- Must be available to work overtime
- Flexibility to travel as needed
- May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
- Must have a valid state Driver license

Pay Range
- $77,000 - $88,000 per year
