Customer Service Vision Engineer

Your main tasks
The Customer Service Vision Engineer will help support customers and Mikron Customer Service staff by providing information and technical support to clients. The ideal candidate will support Mikron's company goals, values, and operating principles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed and technical quote documents for customer requested upgrades. (i.e. new or existing equipment and respective software upgrades)
- Update vision related standard documentation for customer
- Provide validation support as requested
- Understand customer applications prior to onsite support by reviewing historical backups and documentation
- Proactively organize time and have a plan scheduled for the week
- Follow working instruction from Customer Service Manager and Vision Engineering Mentor
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Additional responsibilities may be performed as requested by manager
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- BS in Field of Engineering or 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Onenote)
- Demonstrate knowledge in vision hardware and software, as well as lightings and lenses
- Basic understanding of software used on Mikron Integrated Vision Systems. (i.e. Cognex and Keyence systems, ultra vnc, ewon, team viewer, etc.)
