Mikron Automation Returns to ATX/MD&M East 2023 for North American Launch of a New Platform – Mikron MAIA

Mikron Automation is proud to release its latest innovative platform, the Mikron MAIA, at ATX East on June 13-15 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. The system is a standard, semi-automated platform that can be quickly re-tooled to assemble a variety of injection devices.

“This new system showcases our commitment to medical device and pharmaceutical customers,” explains COO Rolf Rihs.  “The Mikron MAIA demonstrates that while we are widely known for our high-speed, precision assembly solutions, we also have a variety of solutions to help our customer throughout their complete product launch, from first idea to low-volume production through high-volume manufacturing.”

With quick-change tooling, the Mikron MAIA can be reconfigured to assemble most standard pen-injectors, auto injectors, and safety syringes.  The compact footprint and low investment means that the new platform is ideally suited to the needs of customers who require a flexible system that can quickly meet their low volume demands.
