Your main tasks

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Owns process and procedures for all internal recruiting functions, such as but not limited to: 
  • talent pipeline development
  • maintenance of candidate database, candidate tracking processes
    track and report upon hiring metrics (Time to Fill, Attrition, Retention of candidates)
  • legally compliant record maintenance and retention
  • templates as needed for communications, letters of offer, and rejections/rescinding of offers (adverse action letters)
  • external vendor support selection and set up
  • Manage Full-Cycle Recruiting, from requisition to day one onboarding and new hire data entry.
  • Create and implement strategies to solve problems and build diverse pipelines across Mikron’s teams through sourcing, referrals, research, events, and social media.
  • Manages Paylocity recruiting module, updates, data entry, templates, and other projects as assigned.
  • Find and engage passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques and help them envision life at Mikron. 
  • Utilize LinkedIn, indeed, and other resources to “cold call” potential candidates. 
  • Effectively manage multiple requisitions and candidates during high volume periods while creating and owning a flawlessly positive candidate experience.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand their teams and goals. Organize and facilitate interview debriefs and drive offer approval, extension and negotiation. Identify closing strategies for offers and proactively provide candidates with the appropriate information to help make their decision as easy as possible.
  • Track pipeline data and provide relevant and consistent updates to hiring managers. Maintain high attention to detail when entering data into Paylocity and other recruiting tools.
  • Provide monthly hiring metrics to the HR Director for internal KPI tracking.
  • Support HR in onboarding and new hire efforts, acting as a cohesive team member through excellent communication and daily/weekly updates so that the team may be proactive, not reactive.
  • Act as a partner and coach to all hiring managers for interviewing, evaluating department needs, and defining hiring strategy.
  • Keep up to date on all legally required hiring and job posting requirements per state as determined by current employment law. 
  • Create strong bonds with Mikron leadership, managers, and staff to be identified as a trusted source.
  • Assist HR with internal equity evaluation, compensation trending, market evaluations, verify pay bands, and job descriptions to identify trends in compensation and total rewards programs offered by competitors to allow Mikron to stay competitive. 
  • Maintains all data related to recruiting on server as well as Share Point. 
  • Assist leadership in strategy planning for hiring forecast needs as defined by company growth and project projections.
  • Attend career fairs, events, and other networking opportunities to increase company recognition and candidate pipelines. 
  • Work with Apprentice Training Supervisor on external engagement with STEM schools, high school, college, and trade schools.
  • Support hiring managers, sending updates on candidates, organizing, and facilitating interview debriefs and feedback. Act as company “tour guide” for onsite interviews with candidates. 
  • Act as recruiting liaison in discussions with outside recruiting agencies, attending weekly/monthly Teams meetings, providing feedback on candidates, assisting with questions and needs from hiring managers. Manually add all external candidates into Paylocity database for compliance.
  • Maintain company image on external sites, responding to reviews, making efforts to keep company ratings at a high level to increase candidate attraction.
  • Performs Human Resource duties as assigned.
  • Maintain social media posts regarding open positions and notable HR activities/engagement
  • Participate in department rotating lunch coverage for front office coordinator.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Automation industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite. Excel, Power Point, Word, One Note
  • Previous HRIS and ATS software experience
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English. Bilingual is a plus 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state driver license 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to ensure candidate engagement when available.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally at times with short notice
  • Must be able to attend career fairs or expos as needed
  • Follow all safety policies, precautions, and procedures
  • Follow department working instructions from manager
  • Follow daily work activities defined by manager 
  • Timely participation in meetings and follow up to hiring managers and candidates
  • Perform critical tasks of the role satisfactorily within 3 to 6 months of hire date with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to Multi-task. Be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, and be able to self-manage time constraints

Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour
