As a Vision Engineer in Customer Service, you are a key technical expert supporting customers in real production environments. Your mission is to ensure the performance, reliability and long-term stability of vision systems deployed on high-precision automated assembly lines. Through troubleshooting complex technical challenges, optimizing system performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives, you have a direct impact on productivity, product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsabilities
- Provide advanced technical support for vision systems installed at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to optics, lighting, image acquisition, and processing
- Perform on-site and remote interventions to restore and optimize system performance
- Analyze production data and identify root causes of performance deviations
- Optimize existing systems in terms of robustness, repeatability, and reliability
- Support critical project phases at customer site (ramp-up, stabilization, external acceptance tests)
- Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to escalate issues and contribute to product improvements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation (configurations, parameters, software)
- Deliver customer training and technical knowledge transfer
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, tools, and vision standards

Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microtechnology, Automation, Industrial IT, or equivalent
- Proven experience in industrial vision systems or automated equipment
- Knowledge of Cognex, Keyence, or similar solutions is a strong asset
- Experience in customer support, commissioning, or field service is a plus
- Willingness to travel (10–30%)
- Fluent in French and English
