Automatica 2014: More leads than ever before
Boudry, June 2014. – Mikron Automation attended the Automatica International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics in Munich from 3-6 June 2014. The division presented its full range of automation platforms for the first time, on a floor area of 120 square metres. There has never been more interest in Mikron Automation.
As a special highlight, Mikron Automation launched a number of new developments at Automatica: The latest version of its established Mikron G05 assembly cell – with a new touchscreen HMI (Human Machine Interface) – and the third generation of the highly flexible feeding system Mikron Polyfeed, that features a new Cartesian high-speed robot delivering a previously unmatched feeding rate. The division also presented its new modular and flexible high-performance Mikron Tray Handler – which also benefits from a Cartesian high-speed robot. These new products presented together with the Mikron EcoLine assembly cell will enable Mikron Automation's customers to increase their productivity even further.
A complete success
Automatica takes place every two years and is the most important trade fair worldwide for Mikron Automation. This year, Automatica welcomed 34,500 visitors (10% more than the previous year) from over 100 countries, with 731 exhibitors from 42 countries presenting their innovations. Mikron Automation took part in Automatica for the sixth time, and this year was able to make more leads than ever before.
